All conference sessions are broadcast live, so presenters and attendees can participate in each session in real time and interact through audio, video, and chat. Many sessions will have in-person presenters and attendees participating live on campus. The full schedule provides details on which sessions have an in-person option and which are virtual only.
The conference has attracted global participants along with national, regional, and local participants. The virtual option and low registration fee make the conference feasible for many.
Each submission is double-blind peer reviewed. These reviewers provide an accept or reject decision and relevant feedback. If one reviewer accepts and the other rejects, the submission undergoes additional review by a committee who issues the final decision. The conference is organized by GGC faculty from the AACSB accredited School of Business.
Access to all sessions is included. All participants receive commemorative conference items (aka swag bag). In-person participants will receive theirs on site. Items will be mailed to virtual participants. Lunch is provided to in-person participants.
Anyone who plans to attend the conference, including presenters, needs to register and pay the $35 fee. This includes those attending in-person and virtually. For example, if a submission has two authors and both plan to attend the conference, both will need to register. The only exception is undergraduate presenters. Undergraduate presenters do not need to pay the $35, but do need to confirm their attendance with the conference organizers. The registration cost for undergraduate presenters is subsidized by the BEAR Center.
Virtually and on the campus of GGC located in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
There is no room block at a preferred conference hotel. Participants needing overnight accommodations should consider searching for a hotel in the Mall of Georgia area due to the numerous dining and shopping options as well as proximity to campus, interstates, and major roadways.
Yes! More information is available in the Call for Submissions as well as the conference program and full schedule. The conference organizers are also happy to answer questions.
